Giovanni has developed a range of surrealistic and abstract tree paintings based on the story of trees in Lake Malwali at the popular holiday resort area of Yarrawonga. Lake Malwali is a manmade lake and when they first flooded this large area of the lake all the trees got underwater and the trees suffocated and died by the thousands. Even today this beautiful lake is full of dead trees sticking out of the water. Except one small area which somehow rose and dried out and all the trees have come back to life. Our artist’s desire was to create a tree composition radiating the happiness and joy of revitalised life and this range of surrealistic trees just do that as they are perceived to be the symbol of undestroyable life and the artist’s strong belief in life after death.
Medium: oil painting on museum quality art grade canvas.
Available Colours: Purple and Blue Compositions also any specified colour composition can be created upon request.
